No one rocks a Saturday Night Party like the Lockdown Housemates. Courtesy of tonight’s party sponsor, the geng put all the Eviction jitters away, and had a lit Saturday Night to remember.

It is no news that the Housemates always look forward to a Saturday Night Party in Biggie’s House, so seeing them all lit on the dancefloor tonight didn’t come as a surprise to us. From the outfits to the dance moves, the fire DJ and of course, couple moments, the Lockdown Housemates had a blast. Eviction or not, they partied like there’s no tomorrow.

When singing the ‘party rockers’ anthem, it would be unfair to leave out the consistent party moments that always features on the Lockdown dancefloor.

The Fashion Killers

We can all agree that one thing we usually look forward to is the Housemates’ outfit collections at the Saturday Night Parties. Each Saturday, they have proven themselves worthy to be members of the Lockdown geng. Why? Simply because being in Lockdown doesn’t ever stop them from bring in their A-game to the looks.

Courtesy of Whitney Black who dressed the ladies and Zaddiz Clothing that turned the Lockdown men into zaddies, the Housemates looked peng as ever in their proudly Naija outfits.

In line with the theme of the week, knowing Naija, tonight not only featured Nigerian outfits but the dancefloor also got a feel of 9ja tunes. Now tell us if you will hear Lagbaja’s ‘Konko Below’ and not burst some komole dance moves. It can never get more original than that and trust the Lockdown Housemates to show us how to party the Orijin way!

The Lone Vibe

Lucy was a vibe abeg! The party crooner was the life of the party all by herself. Often seen by herself delivering the most energetic dance moves, she sure knew how to rock her body all by herself. Every party needs a Lucy… scratch that, every ORIJINAL party needs a Lucy. Her party vibes were infectious, and you’d never see her at a party dancing and not want to also gbe body e!

The end of a Saturday Night Party usually comes with a mix of lit vibes and anxiety as the day of Eviction draws closer. While we wait to see how they handle these emotions, we better grab some popcorn for some after-party drama tonight!

Travelling to a win

The Big Brother Naija Housemates turned around their fortunes and won wonderfully during their travel based Task.

The Big Brother Naija Housemates continued celebrating the beauty of our nation and the Travel Beta Task took it to the next level.

To get the game going the Housemates were divided into 4 teams named after iconic destinations in Nigeria. They were as follows

IJESHA WATERFALL: Dorathy, Kiddwaya, Praise, Erica

CALABAR CARNIVAL: Vee, Laycon, Brighto, Wathoni
 

ABUJA: Prince, Nengi, Ozo, Tolanibaj

OBUDU: Kaisha, Neo, Trikytee, Lucy

Part one: The crossword
The teams were given a crossword puzzle board, loose letters, and clues to fill the crossword puzzle. The blank spaces on the puzzle to be filled were 22 cities and states in Nigeria so the team with the greatest grasp of local geography was destined to be the winner. That team was Calabar Carnival who completed it way before the one hour of the allotted time.

Part two: The Commercial
This part of the task was all about exercising the Housemates creativity. The teams had to create a commercial for Travelbeta which was at least five minutes long and showcased all the services Travelbeta provides creatively and colourfully. This part of the task was convincingly won by team Abuja.

The prizes
For all their excellent efforts the two winning teams were each awarded One Million Naira to share. To thank the teams for their added creativity and sublime performances an extra prize of an all-expenses-paid trip to Abuja was added.

The successful completion of this task reversed all the negativity that had experienced in the morning and helped to set the mood for what will be another sizzling Saturday Night Party in the Big Brother Naija House.
