Tinie Tempah Wins Solo Artist Of The Year At GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2011

Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu, better known as Tinie Tempah added another award to the many he’s gotten last night as he partially assuaged his Mercury loss by winning the Solo Artist of the year award at the GQ Men of the year 2011 awards.

The GQ Men Of The Year awards 2011 took place in London last night, with celebs including U2, Tinie Tempah and Bradley Cooper turning up to strut their stuff on the red carpet.

With a heap of awards on his mantle already, including this year’s Best Breakthrough Act at the BRIT awards and nominations for Mobos, Tempah just might not have space left for his GQ Men Of The Year award.

He made his first mixtape in 2007 with 28 songs, freestyles and remixes, the album features Mz Bratt, Chipmunk and G-Unit. His first album, “Disc-Overy”, debuted at number one on 10 October 2010 and was preceded by the number-one singles “Pass Out” and “Written in the Stars” and the top-five singles “Frisky” and “Miami 2 Ibiza”.
