Julius Agwu Takes Laff 4 Christ Sake to London

Popular stand-up comedian, Julius Agwu has announced that he is taking the gospel themed comedy show, ‘Laff 4 Christ sake’ to London. The brand from the stable of Reel Laif entertainment, producers of Crack Ya Ribs and Comedy Train which started in 1994 has no doubt gained lots of popularity in Nigeria and environs.

This development is coming 10 years after hosting Crack Ya Ribs, the most popular comedy brand from his stable annually in London. The comedian said he is taking Laff 4 Christ Sake to London as part of Easter celebration for his fans and lovers of quality entertainment.

The show will take place at Lighthouse Hall, Camberwell SE5 0DL on April 8th 2012 from 5pm – 10pm. Performing at the events are SonnieBadu, FaithChild, Andrew Bello, Shabach(Beautiful Sounds),Pastor Gabriel Eziashi, Dan D Humourous, Owen Gee, DJ Mri and many others.

Speaking concerning the show, Julius said “Laff 4 Christ Sake is an evening of gospel rhythms & jokes and we are taking it to London for the first time. It’s the first gospel comedy show in Nigeria/Africa. I started it as my way of giving back to God who oils my wheel of creativity & ingenuity. ??Already, the expectations are high and the buzz is building as Christians are already buying tickets. It promises to be a night of worship, praise, dance laughter because it’s also my Birthday gift to my fans in London”.

Julius said further that he is working to make the show the best comedy show ever organized for the Christian brothers and sisters. “Laff 4 Christ Sake is no doubt a popular comedy brand in the Christendom. We are doing everything possible to make the show the most successful Laff 4 For Christ Sake ever because this is the first edition in London. As a matter of fact, there are some surprises I don’t want to let out now until the day of the show”.

Laff 4 Christ Sake, an evening of gospel rhythms and jokes started in 1994. The last edition was held at the Muson Center on October 23, 2011 with mind blowing performances by Basketmouth, Bovi, Gordons, Buchi, Dan D’Humorous, Senator, Funny Bone, KSB, Frank Edwards, Eben, Onos and Tim Godfrey. DJ Gosporella was on the wheels of steel.

Julius Agwu is a known name when it comes to humour business in Nigeria. The success of his recently concluded Festival of Love show in Lagos still dominates major discourse in the industry. The comedian is not resting on his oars as he is getting ready for another edition of Laff 4 For Christ Sake, an evening of gospel rhythms and jokes.
