LIMELITE RECORDS SET FOR SUNDAY OFFICIAL LAUNCH

To re-define the standard, depth and quality of the Nigerian music industry, Limelite Records is set for official launch on Easter Sunday, April 8th 2012 at 19, Alhaja Toyibat Adeniji Street, Medina Estate, Gbagada in Lagos.

Gracing this epoch event are heavyweight celebrities in the entertainment industry which Sound Sultan, Jaywon, Skales, Eva Alordia, Segun Arinze, Zeb Ejiro, Chico Ejiro, Doris Simeon, Mercy Aigbe, Wole Ojo, Taiwo Aromokun and a host of others.

Revealing this is the CEO of the label, Mr. Kunle Abiola-Ige who has promised to change the game with the way record labels are run in the country. “We have resolved to re-define the music industry in the country especially with artiste development, their welfare and infrastructure,” the label CEO revealed.

He further said that Limelite Records is the home for talented acts waiting to take their own space in the music game with the state of the art music equipment geared towards churning out mega hits for clubs, parties, events, concerts, radio platforms and of course the enthralling world of TV.

On the artiste signed to the label, the General Manager of the label Mr. Nosa Omoregbe disclosed that they have two artistes and producers signed already. “Le’mmon is the first artiste and he is your typical R&B crooner with the Nigerian feel. He has released two smashing singles titled “Celebrate” and “Sweat” that gets you grooving on the dance floor.”

”Our second act is Oshmann, who is going to be the realest hip-hop personality Naija have ever seen with his fast pace Yoruba language rap lyrics which he showed in his debut single titled Oro meaning Word,” the record executive revealed.

Mr. Omoregbe also disclosed that the label has two producers under it’s label who are T.K. on Da Beat, the Head of Productions and Bayo Beats who also doubles as a budding vocalist.
