SuperSport unveils 2012 London Paralympics broadcast plans

The 2012 London Paralympics begin on Wednesday, August 29, and SuperSport will have a dedicated channel for daily broadcasts, plus daily highlights and an on-the-spot crew.

SuperSport 6 will be the prime channel for Paralympic watchers, but in addition there will be highlights on the Compact bouquet (SS4), plus SS9.

Highlight packages will also be available on DStv on Demand and www.supersport.com, with rolling coverage and news items on Blitz.

Viewers can tune into the opening ceremony on Wednesday, August 29, for live coverage from 8.30pm WAT.

The closing ceremony will also be broadcast live from 7.30pm WAT on September 9.
