Samsung has pitted the Galaxy S III against the iPhone 5 in a new ad campaign which will reportedly begin running in national and regional newspapers today (Sunday, 16thSeptember).
It’s thought that the Korean electronics giant is taking a dig at Apple over losing the recent patent battle.
The tagline on the advertisement reads “It doesn’t take a genius” which is thought to be a reference to Apple’s retail employees who are known as “Geuinus’”.
As can be seen from the poster, below, the Galaxy S III’s list of features is much longer than that of the newly announced iPhone 5. The specs also beat Apple’s latest smartphone in terms of HD resolution, talk time and RAM.
Samsung also take time to point out that the S III features near-field communications technology which allows users to pay at a checkout with a mobile phone, however, the feature was seemingly left out of Apple’s new flagship smartphone.
Finally, the ad pokes fun at Apple’s new Lightning dock, referring to it as “a totally different plug.”
