What are the AfricaMagic Viewers’ Choice Awards?

Created to celebrate African film and television talent, both in front of and behind the cameras, the Awards will feature several special categories in which viewers will decide the winners directly, alongside several professionally judged categories.

In total, 28 awards in 26 categories will be awarded ranging from acting and directing to script-writing and cinematography. Other fields which will be honored include editing, make-up, sound, lighting and costuming among others. In addition the awards will feature two categories destined to become annual talking points – the Industry Merit Award and the Trailblazer of the Year Award.

So I’ve filled in my submission form and gathered all my material, how do I get it to you?
Submissions must be posted to:
Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards,
PO Box 2963,
Pinegowrie,
2123,
South Africa

Entries sent via courier/registered mail, before or by the above date, which bear a valid postmark clearly indicating the date of original dispatch, will be accepted even if the entry is delivered to AfricaMagic after the deadline date.

Submissions can also be made at the M-Net stand during Discop Africa 2012, in Johannesburg, from 31 October to 2 November.

How much time have I got?
The deadline for submissions has been extended to Friday 9 November.
