Nigeria’s Got Talent Episode 9: 2nd Group Of Semi Finalists Perform

Last week, the first group of the top 50 semifinalists who got selected by our judges performed for your votes. Impulse the acapella all-male group and Dr.Bariyu were the acts that emerged as qualifiers to the final round based on the public voting and the decision of the judges to save Dr. Bariyu over Lil P in line with the format of the show.

It’s the turn of the 2^nd group of 10 semi finalists. D’Heroes opened the show with their act; a mixture of comedy, music and dance with a bit of Nigerian flavour. Kate was not impressed with what they showcased and she didn’t fail to express herself saying they did better in their audition.

Chuka Solace was up next to drop his rhymes and wow the judges. His ‘punchlines’ were spot on as you could hear him mention all three judges in his rhymes. It was obvious the judges loved his performance because none of them pressed the buzzer for him to stop performing. The third act to showcase his talent was Samuel Okon the young dancer from Calabar. Sadly, he got two buzzer hits from Dan and Yibo showing that they were not impressed with his act. Dan said he did nothing different from what he did at his audition. Yibo didn’t seem pleased with his performance either. Whether or not the judges give thumbs up, it’s up to you the viewers to vote to save your favourite. Marilyn, the lady who uses her hand as a saxophone took to the stage to strut her stuff. It wasn’t long into her performance before Dan pressed his buzzer. He stressed that she has a unique talent but she needs to work on getting the tone right. Kate on the other hand praised her for taking on a high pitched song and said she could do better.

Another group of dancers called Lord’s Chosen Dancers from Ibadan got the crowd to cheer them as they rocked the stage. The judges praised them for a job well done.
