Sky-News

Sky News (DStv channel 402) have announced their coverage for tomorrow’s annual UK Budget statement. Starting at 9am, Jeff Randall will present a special edition of Jeff Randall Live from The Gherkin, looking ahead at the day’s events.

Dermot Murnaghan will anchor live from Westminster throughout the day.

Political Editor Adam Boulton and Economics Editor Ed Conway will also be in Westminster – they’ll have political reaction and expert analysis respectively.

Business presenters, Joel Hills and Dharshini David will be based at Economy Road in Lowestoft and at Macquarie Bank in London respectively. Joel will be taking the ‘economic temperature’ with local shop owners, business leaders, families and shoppers throughout the day. Darshini will be among real experts who can reflect immediate, informed reaction and explain any market response. City Editor, Mark Kleinman, will also be in The City, giving in depth analysis throughout the day from trading floors.

Back in Sky News Centre, Martin Stanford will breakdown key measures via a purpose built iPad app, alongside the news wall.

On Sky News for iPad, Business and Economics Correspondent Poppy Trowbridge will take a look at business buzzwords, cutting through the jargon ahead of the budget and Economy Road shopkeepers talk about their Budget wish list. skynews.com will feature interactive graphics, a budget calculator – allowing viewers to see how the Budget affects them – and a live blog from Political Correspondent, Sophy Ridge.

Jeff Randall returns with Jeff Randall Live, at 8pm WAT.

The Chancellor’s Budget speech will immediately follow Prime Ministers Questions.
