School is out and it’s time for kids to sit back and enjoy the holidays. Parents have no need to stress about keeping their little ones entertained because DStv has it covered. With special Easter-themed programming and movies, it’s one less thing to worry about.

Disney Junior presents their Easter Eggstravaganza: a jam-packed weekend of all things Easter along with new episodes of top shows. Kids can kick off Easter Saturday with Jake and his friends as they set out to retrieve their stolen golden egg from the devious Captain Hook in Jake and the Neverland Pirates at 9am.

After that, why not let them stay tuned to Disney Junior for special Easter-themed episodes ofMickey Mouse ClubhouseDoc McStuffins and Zooters Surprise Delivery in Jungle Junction? Plus, kids won’t want to miss the brand new episode of Zou at 12pm on Saturday.


Meanwhile, video game fans can prepare themselves for Cartoon Network’s Ultimate Gaming Weekend filled with every video game-themed episodes from their favourite shows. Level Up, Ben 10, The Amazing World of Gumball, Regular Show and Adventure Time will delve into the gaming world on Saturday from 10am and on Sunday from 9am.


Kids can also step into the fairytale world with Disney’s classic film Cinderella. Join them and be enchanted with Disney’s classic tale on Saturday 30 March at 10:15am. Then, watch what happens to Cinderella after her happily ever after on Sunday, 31 March at 10:15am in the sequelCinderella II: Dreams Come True on the Disney channel.

Finally, on Easter Sunday, it’s all about the Easter bunny’s difficult job in the movie Hop. It’s a job that happens only once a year, but the next bunny in line for the job has bigger dreams. The movie stars James Marsden and Russell Brand. Watch Hop on Sunday 30 March at 6pm on M-Net Movies Showcase (108).
