Big Brother The Chase Day 18: Rubies’ triumph and Motamma’s tragedy

The creativity tasks persisted on Day 18 ofBig Brother The Chase as the task presentation loomed for the Diamonds and Rubies.

An exhausted-looking Maria could hardly lift a foot during the morning’s exercise session. Perhaps due to her late night chat with Ghana’s Elikem or perhaps her dilemma over her relationship with South African housemate Angelo is tiring her out.

Ghanaian housemate and HoH Selly announced the task – each housemate had to write a poem inspired by themes of love, hate, painting and baking a cake. This produced a shout of “Good one Biggie” from Sulu.

Big Brother wasn’t that impressed with the housemates’ commitment to the tasks, saying they spent most of their time sleeping. But despite the lackluster effort, the Rubies’ and the Diamond’s Task Presentations knocked it out of the park. The Rubies won the Interhouse competition and their wager.

A grief stricken Motamma mourned the passing of her grandfather. During her diary session, housemate from Botswana revealed that she had had a dream about her grandfather and that when that happened she knew that there was something wrong.

Kenya’s Annabel, Angola’s Biguesas, Malawi’s Natasha, Angola’s Neyll and Zimbabwe’s Pokello  are all up for eviction this week – so continue to vote for your favourite housemate to keep them in The Chase.
