AMD channels launch on Nigerian DTH platform, Montage Cable Network

Africa Media Distribution announced today that it has successfully launched a new network of channels on Nigerian DTH platform, Montage, including its own channels, AMD ONE, AMD SISTERS and AMD AFRICA.

Montage is a credible, privately owned Digital Satellite Television company, leveraging cutting edge technology and service delivery, to provide the best family entertainment across lifestyle, movies, sport, kids’ channels and more, for the West African Pay TV market.

AMD ONE is a general entertainment channel, featuring hard-hitting dramas such as 24, Homeland and the Borgias, directed by Neil Jordan and starring Jeremy Irons. The line up is complemented by Hollywood movies such as Black Swan, Taken and Die Hard, plus much loved classics CSI, the District and Star Trek Voyager.

AMD Sisters is dedicated to a mostly female audience, with a heady blend of lifestyle, fashion, home and gossip from shows such as Rachel Ray, Entertainment Tonight and America’s Next Top Model. The channel also features series, soaps, rom coms and movies.

AMD Africa is the home of treasured Nollywood movies like Warrior’s Heart , as well as championing homegrown Nigerian series such as Siblings, the Philips and Family Jury. The channel also features locally shot and sourced original productions.
