Must See TV This Weekend on SuperSport: IAAF Diamond League, NBA, BPL title deciders and more…

Fireworks will fly on SuperSport, as DStv’s premier sporting channels dish up another action-packed weekend on TV and via live video streaming on supersport.com.

The IAAF Diamond League in Doha will set the tone on Friday 9 May, as the world’s best athletes descend upon the capital city of Qatar. The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League will provide football action when Zimbabwe Harare City FC does battle with Triangle United FC.

We kick off Saturday 10 May with the NBA Conference semifinal between the Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder at the Staples Center Arena. 

On Sunday 11 May, there’s plenty of action from the Barclays Premier League as the 2013/14 season reaches it’s conclusion. Liverpool take the field against Newcastle United needing a win to give themselves a shot at the title, while Chelsea will look to pile more misery on an already-relegated Cardiff City side at the Cardiff City Stadium. 

Focus will then fall at the Etihad Stadium as Manchester City make a final dash for the league title as they face West Ham United.

Spanish La Liga title contenders Atletico Madrid will want to avoid complacency when they face Malaga at the Vicente Calderon stadium, while Barcelona will also want to step up the pace in their league match against Elche, in the hope of contesting for league honours. 

A zesty Serie A clash between Roma and Juventus will keep the tempo high as the two clubs lock horns at the picturesque Stadio Olimpico.
