Microsoft’s Lumia 830 launched with 10MP PureView camera, Lumia Denim firmware and a focus on value

Again today Microsoft launched an oozing high-end style and performance,  welcome the thinnest and lightest family member to land all of the flagship innovation and experiences, the Lumia 830.

Microsoft affordable flagship, the Lumia 830, comes with a rear-facing 10MP PureView camera with ZEISS optics and the thinnest and lightest Optical Image Stabilization system ever built; letting you capture razor-sharp images day or night. You can also bring your memories to life with Living Images, which adds movement and emotions in every picture you take.

Packing in Nokia Rich Recording, with three high performance mics delivering true 5.1 surround sound, and Nokia Camera delivering distortion-free and full bandwidth stereo recording, the Lumia 830 delivers a flagship imaging and innovation without the flagship price tag.

What’s more, the over-the-air Lumia Camera update will introduce even faster pocket to shot, and shooting speeds, plus cool new capture features to ensure you’ll never miss a moment.

Continuing the Lumia design legacy, the stylish Lumia 830 will be available in bright orange, bright green, white and black. At just 8.5mm thin, it’s our thinnest and lightest Lumia to date, with metal and polycarbonate that screams premium design, durability and performance.

Powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor, prepare yourself for faster and smoother web browsing and gaming action on the sharp five-inch ClearBlack display, which offers readability in sunlight and feels great thanks to super-sensitive touch technology with Curved Gorilla 3.0 glass.

The onboard 16GB memory will take care of your storage needs with further support for 128GB via a microSD slot. And, of course, you also get 15GB of free OneDrive cloud storage, which makes it super easy to share your stunning, photos and videos with friends and family securely.

Like a true Windows Phone 8.1 phone, the Lumia 830 comes pre-loaded with exciting features such as Notification Center, Live Tiles, Microsoft Office, Cortana, OneDrive and exciting range of apps that sync across devices so you can pick up where you left off.

The Lumia 830 is expected to be available in September around the world and is estimated to be priced at around 330EUR before taxes and subsidies.
