GOtv signals in Abuja, Nigeria’s federal capital territory (FCT) and environs received a boost on Friday 21 November 2014 with its coverage reaching suburbs and bordering towns.

Among the new towns and suburbs covered by the low-cost digital terrestrial pay-TV are – Dawaki, Dutse, Gwagwalada, Karu, Kubwa, Nyanyan, New Nyanyan, Keffi and Mararaba both in Nasarawa state, and Suleja in Niger state.

Speaking at a commemorative event held at the Utako Modern Market on Wednesday 26 November, Elizabeth Amkpa, GOtv’s general manager said: “In support of the digital migration, the price of GOtv decoders has been slashed to N2 900 in the GO Gaga festive offer. This season special presents an exciting time for TV lovers in Abuja environs to join in the digital television revolution”.

“Not only will new subscribers buy their GOtv decoders at a further subsidized price, there is the added festive cheer of the MultiChoice Super Cruise promo which gives them an opportunity to be entered into a draw for a chance to win one of 20 Kia Rio cars, among other prices.”

She concluded by saying that new subscribers can enter for the MultiChoice Super Cruise promo by paying an additional two months subscription while existing subscribers are simply required to pay three months subscription to qualify for the draws.
GOtv offers the GOtv Plus bouquet which gives access to 41 channels and the GOtv bouquet with a 28 channel offering, both providing families access to an exciting selection of local and international channels containing news, sport, movies, music, documentaries, religion and children’s programming.

For N2900, subscribers get a GOtv decoder including 1 month subscription to GOtv Plus. At the expiration of the one month, subscribers can continue to watch 41 exciting channels on the GOtv Plus bouquet for a monthly subscription of N1500 or downgrade to GOtv for N1000 monthly.
