Zee World kicks off this week on Tuesday 3 February at 5pm WAT on DStv, channel 166. It is available on DStv Premium, DStv Compact Plus, DStv Compact and the DStv Family bouquets.

With a scintillating line-up of blockbuster Bollywood movies as well as thrilling drama series, Zee World and DStv bring all the drama into your living room.

Caste, creed and colour are of prominence in some Hindu communities. Saloni, starting 3 February at 5pm WAT on Zee World, tells the tale of a young girl who is shunned for her darker complexion. Follow her struggle as she constantly strives to prove she has something of value to contribute to her family and to society.

The Promise on 3 February at 6pm WAT on Zee World sees three sisters plunged into emotional turmoil when their father dies and they’re shipped off to the big city to live with wealthy family friends. The sisters are unsure of their new guardians and soon discover that the only way they will survive is if they stick together.

Laali
highlights the issue of poor families in India and what they will do to survive. Laali’s family sells her to be married into another family at a young age. All grown up, Laali awaits her send-off wedding ceremony and dreams of a better life with her husband. Will she find the peace she’s looking for with her new family? Tune in to Laali on 3 February at 7pm WAT on Zee World to find out.

Putting their children’s needs first, Yash and Aarti find themselves married for a second time. Along with this comes a whole new set of problems. Watch their journey of marriage in Married Again on 3 February at 8pm WAT on Zee World.

Heroine on 6 February stars seasoned actress Karina Kapoor who is married to fellow Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. In Heroine, Karina is cast as a once-famous actress trying to reclaim fame.

Tanu Weds Manu on 11 February
is a romantic comedy starring famed actor Madhavan who’s known for his roles in both Tamil and Hindi movies. In this film Madhavan turns on the charm as he finds himself marrying a woman who has her heart set on someone else.


Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone make an explosive onscreen pair yet again in Chennai Express on 25 February. The duo starred together in Om Shanti Om and they’re back as Shahrukh sets out on a mission to scatter his grandmother’s ashes and bumps into Deepika, who is cast as the daughter of a feared local don. They embark on an adventure of dangerous escapades together.
