The 87th Academy Awards have come and gone, ending off the 2015 Awards Season perfectly. If you weren’t able to catch the live broadcast make certain to watch the rebroadcast on Monday 23 February at 8:30pm WAT on M-Net.

If you’re not one to mind spoilers or have already watched the Oscars, take a look at all the winners details below.

Patricia Arquette blew the audience away with her moving acceptance speech.

The 46-year-old received the Best Supporting Actress trophy at Sunday night’s 87th Academy Awards for her work in Boyhood.

And when she came up to the stage to accept her prize, after first thanking a host of people and her “beautiful, powerful” fellow nominees, Patricia delivered a riveting statement on gender pay gap issues.

“To every woman who gave birth to every taxpayer and citizen of this nation, we have fought for everybody else’s equal rights. It’s our time to have wage equality once and for all and equal rights for women in the United States of America,” she stated to thundering applause.

Audience members Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lopez screamed at the top of their lungs in support of Patricia’s speech. Meryl rose out of her seat and she later told the Associated PressPatricia’s words “made my night”.

Addressing diversity and gender equality seemed to be an underlying theme at this year’s Oscars, which took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Before the event kicked off, actress Reese Witherspoon and other A-listers called attention to The Representation Project’s #AskHerMore initiative, which invites journalists to deliver more complex questions to female celebrities during interviews.

Openly homosexual star Neil Patrick Harris, who served as this year’s Academy Awardshost, also called attention to diversity in his opening number.

“Welcome to the 87th Oscars,” Neil said as he graced the stage in a black tuxedo at the beginning of the ceremony. “Tonight we honour Hollywood’s best and whitest — sorry, brightest.”

A bit of an uproar ensued on Twitter after the Oscars’ annual In Memoriam tribute screened at the ceremony. Comedienne Joan Rivers, who died at the age of 81 last September, was not included in the In Memoriam segment. Neither was beloved actress Elaine Stritch, who passed away last July at the age of 89.

Joan first started hosting the E! Academy Awards red carpet show in 1995 and Emmy-nominated TV personality Billy Eichner is appalled her death wasn’t mentioned In Memoriam.

“No Joan Rivers in the montage??? She basically created the red carpet which makes all of these b***hes millions. For shame!!!” Billy lamented on Twitter.
