M-Net celebrates World CSI Day
US TV broadcaster CBS has declared Wednesday, 4 March, World CSI Day, and will embark on a global effort for CSI to break the Guinness World Records Achievement for “Largest Ever TV Drama Simulcast.”
The event will celebrate 15 years of the CSI franchise, one of the biggest and most successful in the world, and the U.S. premiere of CSI: Cyber.
The global event will feature a worldwide simulcast of the CSI: Crime Scene Investigationseason 14 episode “Kitty”, which aired as the planted spin-off for CSI: Cyber, the next generation and fourth series in the franchise.
The episode will air in more than 150 countries and M-Net will be part of this record-breaking attempt. You can catch this simulcast episode in the early hours of Wednesday 4 March at 1am WAT on M-Net channel 101.
CSI: Cyber is a drama inspired by the advanced technological work of real-life Cyber Psychologist Mary Aiken. The show revolves around Special Agent Avery Ryan who heads the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI, a unit at the forefront of solving illegal activities that start in the mind, live online, and play out in the real world. Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek, Peter MacNicol, Shad Moss, Hayley Kiyoko and Charley Koontz star in the show.
The exciting new show, CSI: Cyber will be premiering on Wednesday 25 March at 8:30pm WAT on M-Net.
