#AMVCA2015: Meet the hosts – Vimbai Mutinhiri and IK Osakioduwa

The AfricaMagic Viewers Choice Awards is here again! With all the anticipation and buzz going on at the moment we thought you all would be glad to know that the hosts of the night are all glamorously prepped up and ready to get this epic moment rolling!. So…lets meet the hosts:

Ik.

You probably already know Ik as the hilarious and extremely gifted presenter on the popular reality TV show Big brother Africa and formerly on MNets studio 53.

But did you also know that this 35 y/o continental icon had his start in the industry on a campus show while he was in the University of Lagos?

Ik is vocal about his love for the Nigerian entertainment industry saying “You can make of it what you want”.

He has been married for almost 7 years to a wonderful woman and has two beautiful kids Osohor and Micah.

On his plans for the future, IK says he is ready to give back to society and mentor people with talent so that they can also achieve their dreams.

Vimbai

Actress, model and TV personality Vimbai Mutinhiri came into the spotlight as a contestant on big brother Africa season 6. .

Did you know that Vimbai had her start in a short film for the Zimbabwean international film festival called “Who’s in charge?’’. She also played a lead role in Studio 263, Zimbabwe’s first and longest running TV Series.

After her stint on the Big Brother Africa show she went on to co-host an AfricaMagic show called Star Gist.

While completing her Bachelor degree in Social Science, Philosophy and Politics, she modeled for brands such as Estee Lauder, MTV Base and Zain.

She is known for her tasteful fashion sense and her love of colorful and beautifully fitted dresses. We can’t wait to see what/who she will be wearing as co-host of the glamorous #AMVCA2015 awards.
