VIDEO: Brillsta – Fortunate Me

Benjamin Uhuo (born on May 5th) is a Nigerian born artist, popularly known on stage as ‘Brillsta’ short for ‘Brilliant Star’. Brillsta is the 2nd child in a family of six (6) born to Mr. and Mrs. Uhuo from Ebonyi state.

At a very young of 19, he began to develop an interest in music. His style of music is cosidered Contemporary Pop/ Hip Hop/ Reggae.

In 2010 he released a couple of tracks on his own which generated a lot of buzz and caught the attention of some radio stations in Nigeria. These songs which include ‘Original’, ‘Babymama’ and ‘Got Me’ feat. Paul-sed were written and produced by him.

In 2011 he was interviewed on a couple of very popular radio stations, that motivated him to produce more tracks.

By September 2013 he got signed to Trap Records Africa, a division of Trap Records Entertainment USA. In October of 2013, Brillsta released his first single ‘Fun Fire’ under Trap Records Africa which gained him attention in the Music industry both in Nigeria and around the globe.
