PHOTOS: Meet the 2019 contestants for Mister Africa International

Just Fashion UK and Fitfam magazine have released the pictures of the over 20 country representatives that will participate in the Mister Africa International 2019 that will be held on the 8th of December in Nigeria. 

This will be the 3rd time Nigeria will be hosting the event in the pageant’s 8 year history. With the theme “Africa: through the looking glass’ the pageant hopes to highlight some of the problems of the continent and how to use innovation and education to solve it. This year Mr Africa – Turkey debuts in the competition. 

Calisah Jiwa

The reigning winner is Calisah Jiwa from Tanzania. Upon winning he launched his shoe store in Tanzania and also traveled to several countries including Ethopia , kenya , Nigeria etc 

Ibrahim Mantaray

The 1st runner up, Mantaray Ibrahim from Sierra Leone launched his own movie studio and travelled to Liberia on behalf of the pageant. 

 The winner of the upcoming edition will partner with several international communities and travel the world promoting youth empowerment through innovation, education and health initiatives. Although just the top 16 will make it to the semi finals in Nigeria, check out the contenders below
