Piers Morgan quits America's Got Talent
Piers Morgan announced on his CNN show Wednesday night that he will be leaving NBC’s America’s Got Talent.”I’ve discovered that juggling, to my surprise, really is a bit more difficult than I thought,” he said on Piers Morgan Tonight, also thanking NBC, Fremantle and Simon Cowell on air.
He is giving up his position as a judge on the show which made him a star across the Atlantic after six years.
Last year he stepped down from Britain’s Got Talent because of his commitments in the US.
He made his announcement with a message on Twitter, which said: ”I’m leaving America’s Got Talent after 6 wonderful years.
”Turned out that juggling’s harder than it looks, so I’m going to focus on CNN.”
Morgan, who also fronts his Life Stories chat series for ITV, signed with CNN last year to take over from the respected TV veteran Larry King.
One wag later sent a message which was re-tweeted by the presenter which said: ”Breaking: Piers Morgan leaves America’s Got Talent after finally accepting he has no talent and is not even American.”
