Ice Prince, Sarkodie & Wizkid Nominated for The 2012 BET Awards

Nigeria’s own Ice Prince, Wizkid and Ghanaian rap sensation Sarkodie have been nominated in the Best International Africa Act at this year’s BET Awards holding on July 1. Other nominees in the category are: Camp Mulla (Kenya), Lira (South Africa), and Mokobe (Mali).

The 2012 BET Awards is quickly approaching. The network held a press conference in NYC this afternoon to announce the full list of nominees, performers as well as this year’s host, Samuel L. Jackson.

Urban music’s biggest calendar night, is set to air live from Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium on July 1st.

After a year of hot tamale releases, all eyes are on who is up for awards at this year’s show.
