Get ready as The X-Factor is coming back to M-Net!

The X-Factor returns to M-Net on 6 October 2012 and will enjoy a Saturday & Sunday prime time, double-bill, premiere weekly broadcast.

The African broadcast of the hit series will start off marginally behind the US schedule but will catch up steadily (partially due to the series going on a break for the US Presidential Election) to the December Finale which will be broadcast LIVE and repeated in prime time on channel 101.

After much hype and speculation, multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning worldwide pop icon Britney Spears and singer, songwriter and actress Demi Lovato will join L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell as new judges on The X Factor, replacing predecessors Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, who were unceremoniously axed after Season 1 by executive producer Cowell.

Within the first four weeks of the reality series, which airs in over 162 countries globally, M-Net will broadcast just 3 days after the US broadcast,ensuring the most current viewing experience possible for subscribers and fans.
