Chuddy K, Waconzy rocked the show at the Nigerian Idol Benin city auditions

Nigerian Idol has a large followership in Benin going by the level of turnout by people in the city for auditions on the 3rd season of the show. Contestants came in quite early as recorded in other audition cities only that going by the records we have from the online registrations for Benin city, the turnout was much higher.

It’s always interesting to see Idol hopefuls meet, familiarize and bond at the venue even though they are all in contention for the same prize. Available bathrooms are quickly turned to rehearsal studios by the contestants and different range of voice pitch levels could be heard whenever one decides to visit these places to answer the call of Mother Nature.

Once the contestants were accredited and got their registration tags, the auditions commenced. Oh yes, the audition hall came to live with many fun and engaging sessions ranging from mini Idol competitions and guest artistes performances.

Chuddy K, Waconzy and a home grown artiste entertained the crowd. They offered advice on the need to be focused having once been in their shows, but consistency got them to the position they are today.

The Dj was spot on and one would think the audition is for a dancing competition as against a singing competition.  Benin brought it on in no small measure.

Lagos is next with the final round of auditions as they travel back to the Dream Studios come 10th– 11th Nov. Lagos are you ready? The countdown has started!
