MultiChoice Nigeria has rolled out its new service, GOtv television, in Kano using the latest generation digital video broadcast standard.

Addressing newsmen in Kano, the General Manager GOtv, Mrs. Elizabeth Amkpa, said after successful launch in Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Lagos, Enugu, Benin City, Aba and Owerri, Kano has been on the list being the commercial nerve of centre of Northern Nigeria.
“Our product is accessible and relevant to all television lovers because it delivers a selection of exciting channels in great picture and sound quality. GOtv also has the greatest selection of local channels made in Africa for Africa,” Mrs. Amkpa stated.
She added that the coming of GOtv has changed the trend of pay television landscape in the country because it provides high quality digital paid television services that the average citizen can afford.
Mrs. Amkpa stated that subscribers will have access to selected channels containing news and current affairs, children’s programmes, documentaries among others on the two available bouquets of GOtv Plus which has a total of 37 channels and GOtv with 27 channels. The complete system sells for N9,900.
