DStv has got the spookiest lineup of shows coming up in October. From zombies and mummies, to werewolves and vampires and even ancient aliens, they’re all lurking about on the DStv channels.

Brace yourself for the biggest premieres and get into the Halloween spirit with #DStvSeries.

The fourth season of The Walking Dead sees Rick and the group fighting for survival against the walkers, as well as trying to fend off outside threats and the dangers that are rife within the prison walls on 14 October at 9pm on FOX, closer to the US broadcast than ever before.

In Sleepy Hollow on 14 October at 6:30pm on M-Net Series Showcase, Ichabod Crane is a part of an ancient fight against the forces of darkness. He lies dormant for 250 years and is resurrected in the 21st century at the same time as his foe, the Headless Horseman.

The horseman’s mission is to finish what he started all those years ago and wipe out all traces of good from the town of Sleepy Hollow. Will the horseman succeed or will Ichabod summon the powers of good to defeat evil?

The electrifying season three premiere of Teen Wolf on 4 October at 6:30pm on M-Net Series Showcase sees a pack of rabid alpha males descend on Beacon Hills.

They definitely aren’t there to admire the scenery and it’s up to Derek and his friends to stop the mayhem, but at a high cost.

Then, old-world darkness meets mystery in Vampire Skeletons on 31 October at 9:55pm on Discovery World as this intriguing show delves into the depths of an era gone by to discover humankind’s earliest fears and where they originated from.

Also, gain insight into people who lived and died a long time ago in The Mummy Autopsy on 4, 5 October at 11:55am on Discovery World.

Keep it locked on DStv and be prepared to be scared silly. Love their lineup? Then tweet all about it using the hashtag #DStvSeries.
