VIDEO: Nameless – Butterfly

Kenyan artist Nameless is back into the music scene with a new track “Butterfly” which was released together with the video. Nameless went back to the same producer who produced one of his biggest songs “Salary” Washington from Uganda.

Nameless becomes the first Kenyan artist to sing in Luganda, Uganda’s most dominant dialect. The song takes Nameless’ signature theme, love and beauty. He sings to an African woman well depicted in the video, his Luganda on the song is flawless.

During one of his many tours, a Ugandan fan challenged him to learn some Luganda. This inspired the idea to this song. Butterfly (kiwojolo) is a love song from a man to a woman of a different background. The man needs to learn her language to communicate his feelings to her. He also teaches her his language

Washington who has produced big East African songs does justice to the track with a powerful kick and snare.
