Big Brother Hotshots Day 14 Live Show: Kenyan group, Elani starts the party!
Nothing quite says Big Brother live show is in the building like a swaggered out IK stepping out onto stage fit in a black waist coat and a ruby tie with a bag of wise cracks and that famous smile. But wait, there was more; an electric serenade by urban afro soul trio Elani representing the land of the Masai, Kenya.
A little bit of a good time for a lot of tension ahead, this being the second eviction show after all. Last week saw the unfortunate departure of Zambian lass Resa and Mozambiques belle Mira.
While the fiery poet from Zambia didn’t expect to be the first baby out with the eviction bath water, when it turned she was, a composed Resa simply said she was “at peace with it.”
She arrived home in Zambia to a warm reception and to more attention from the media than she could imagine.
Mira admitted she missed Luis most out of the housemates having developed a special friendship with him. She walked into her country’s election moment when she got home and has set time aside for her career as a budding model.
We reckon anytime spent with Biggie is exposure enough so these two are already Hotshots in our opinion.
As Elani set the stage alight with their hit single with a message “Jana Usiku” followed aptly by a love song for aching hearts “Koo Koo”. Perhaps a dedication to the aching hearts of the housemates facing eviction this evening.
