MTV Video Music Awards 2012: Full Nomination list

The full list of nominations for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards have today been unveiled.Rihanna and Drake are leading the day with 5 nominations each.

Rihanna has been named in the coveted Video of the Year category for We Found Love, as well as Take Care with Drake. She is also up for Best Female Video, Best Choreography, Best Visual Effects and Best Pop Video.

Drake is up for Best Hip Hop Video, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Male Video.

Katy Perry follows with four nods and other notable nominees include Kanye West, Gotye, Justin Bieber and Beyoncé.

However, a lot of people are unhappy that Lady Gaga has been snubbed, not receiving a single nomination although both her videos for You and I and Marry The Night were eligible.
